Police at a Funeral

Did you know I hate my family?

On Monday July 5th my great grandmother died at about noon. I was watching Young Frankenstein at Tyler's house about that time, which is pretty ironic. I was never very close to her and she's not been the same since her Alzheimer's kicked in a few years ago. Everyone except my grandmother and the two aunts that live with her treated Grandma Collins like she wasn't even human anymore. Even though I wasn't close to her it pissed me off.

So anyway, I went to the viewing on Wednesday and avoided as many people as I could. I smiled, shook hands, and hid my burning hatred. I didn't make it to the actual funeral the next day because my mother and I slept in. As it turns out, Vivian went to the funeral.

Now before I tell you what she did, let me explain that she's fucking crazy. Her 18-year-old son refused to let her attend his graduation this year. The entire story has been pieced together from what I could learn from the few family members I can tolerate.

Vivian and her boyfriend walked into the funeral home and she looked for her father. As soon as she found him she cursed up a storm and her boyfriend backed away, wanting nothing to do with it. Her father is on an oxygen tank and in a wheelchair and has a bad heart condition. She screams that he didn't come to her graduation (when she meant her son's) and that he'd come to a funeral instead. It took several people including a funeral home employee to restrain her and someone ended up with a large bite mark on their hand.

The police couldn't arrest her because they would have had to take in everyone that restrained her. So she's still out there causing shitfits everywhere.

This is why we can't have nice things.
