Seeing as how I sparsely write in here given the lack of time I usualy have, I'm taking the time now to do so. I just did my nightschool exam tonight for english and I hope I did well, but I think I did. I'm performing in a one-act at my school again this coming monday. It's pretty zany and there's not much to it, substance wise, but I suppose it'd work for a highschool comedy show. I play a crazy Latvian doctor, which I feel I'm a bit type cast, but oh well. We've had just about only a month to get all this together. When I phoned my friend to invite her to the show,I find out that she's been gone for the last three weeks in Cuba, which now accounts for our lack of communication in the last little while. I saw James Iha's "Let It Come Down" today in Vortex. An album that shouldn't normally turn my head because it's probably already available in there (I only realy check 'new arrivals' 95 % of the time.) and it's available in most used CD stores, but I felt somewhat tempted to buy it because of the good things I've heard about it from friends I respect. Maybe I should. I also heard the GoGoGo Airheart CD in Vortex and it was not my scene. Anyways, yeah- this year's just whipping by (school wise.) I'm still looking for submissions fo the zine I'm making. I've got some cool shit so far such as an interview I conducted last week with Jason Trachtenburg of The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, which should be awesome. He had a lot to say in general, and it was just a very good interview.

By the way, just for a laugh, I thought I'd ask- Can anyone verify whether some sort re-formation of At The Drive-In played in some church-like venue in Mississauga last week or a couple of weeks ago as a concert for some kid/teen who had cancer. It sounds very much like bullshit..but hey, i could be totaly wrong. I'm asking this question for a friend who was told this when he was walking outside oneday with his atd-i shirt and some kid told him this.
