Back at home
My grandfather finally is out of the hospital, nearly two weeks after he was admitted. My uncle worked half a day and picked him up. I don't know too many details, other than he's home; I'd asked him to call me, but something came up. Seems that the cleaning people his landlords had hired inadvertently unplugged his (cordless) phones and they're not working right now. Nice. He does have a cell phone, but it's been with him at the hospital, and there's a minutes/charging issue there. My grandfather talked to my grandmother--I think he called her--and she called here, so at least we've heard something. I imagine by tomorrow his phones will be working again and I'll hear from him. I know he's glad to be back; he was getting bored in the hospital.
