The flute teacher
I got a random phone call a little while ago. It was Victoria, whose son got baptized a few weeks back. She called to say she'd gotten a flute, and would I come over and show her how to hold it? I had to laugh and say, what, right now? She was like, sure. Wait, are you kidding? Turns out she wasn't and she really would like me to come over and help her out. I told her that I should be free the weekend after New Year's, so she asked me to call her to let me know when I'm available. Oh, how wild. But, you know what? It could be a lot of fun, and I really haven't seen her and her family in a while, so what the heck. We'll see how it goes.
