We didn't open the kiosk today, which is fine. I got to spend the day stocking calendars and shifting things around (because of course the manager couldn't leave things the way they were last year...when our manager was the district kiosk person...but what do I know). It should open tomorrow. Considering for a couple hours we had *four* people working on that sucker, it should be in good enough shape to open. Goody. What's better is that I have to work the kiosk all week next week--almost forty hours. Grr. At least I'm making money, and I'll have plenty of time to jot down writing ideas. :) Only Monday should be super-bad, being the Columbus Day holiday and all (and several local school districts were off today...ugh, I hate kids roaming the mall!). The rest of the week should be boring, with the regular amount of customers asking stupid questions ("Are you new?" "How long will the store be here?" "Are these records?").
Tomorrow: Class. (Did I even glance at my script, for which I have two characters? No.)
Sunday: Baby birthday party! Whee! I finally get to see my friends' son.
Monday: Back to the Kiosk of Doom, which I know is in full swing because I've already been conked on the head by wayward calendars.
Don't expect much from me next week...and expect me to be crabby. Just a warning.
