Goodbye, Wisconsin
Not a whole lot is going on here. We got word that my grandmother sold her getaway place. The closing isn't until November, so it's not like it's happening tomorrow...and it's not a definite thing anyway, because the closing is so far away. My parents are disappointed; they loved to go up and visit. (It's in Lake Geneva, WI.) However, grandma couldn't afford both her regular place and the getaway, so she ended up renting out Geneva a lot of the time. We haven't been able to get up there the past two summers because it's been rented. Plus, she's old, and it's hard to take care of one place by yourself, let alone two. We figure grandma's going to want our help in packing the place up and making sure it's in good order, so chances are we'll go up at least a few times. Besides, my dad wants to take his bike up there. :) We may go up as soon as this weekend, but mom and I have class on Saturday and dad has an appointment, so we don't know times or anything. I'd like to go up and take pictures just to remember it. It's on a golf course. Plus, I've never even walked around there, so it would be nice to take a peek at the facilities, even if I'll never use them.
