Toilet troubles
I can't catch a break lately. The most recent episode involves something I can't really put delicately--my personal pipes were clogged, which in turn clogged my toilet's pipes. This happened last week and then again last night. And last night, there was an unusual sound that came from my toilet when I flushed it, but it was late and I was tired and I figured I'd make it morning Jen's problem.
I get up this morning and, before actually using said toilet, proceeded to plunge it. I then flushed once, then again, to make sure the water went down. It didn't the first time but did the second. I then hear my mother yelling, don't flush the toilet! Oh, no. I go downstairs and discover that there's been some sort of leak, which happened last night and was now happening again this morning. It's near the bump-out for our sliding doors to the deck, so at least it's not super conspicuous, but it dripped enough that there was water on the floor and the seam from the ceiling and wall was wet. Great. Well, I guess that explains the weird sound; my initial thought had been, maybe the seal needs to be replaced. Dad even said, I have a new ring for your toilet.
I'm just so tired. I'm physically tired, mentally tired, emotionally tired. I just want things to work. I want to go to my job, be able to do my job, and then come home and chill, but nothing is restful at the moment.
