Life skill unlocked: I have printed from my phone

One of my frustrations for the past few years has been that I haven't been able to print from my devices. For whatever reason, printing from the iPad is not possible that I've been able to figure out, and while I did try to set up printing on my laptop, something wasn't jiving and one refused to speak to the other. I've ended up printing a bunch of stuff at work, especially since all of my Fancy Band music has to be printed off by the players. I brought my own paper, at least, though that's because I use better quality paper at my house. But this has long bothered me; I have a printer. I should be able to print.

Then came tax season, and for some reason dad's laptop had stopped being able to print to our old printer. This was stressful when it came to printing out our tax forms. I had to email mine to him so he could print from his phone. This is silly. If he can print from his phone, I should be able to as well, right? So tonight, I took the time and found a YouTube tutorial for the technologically challenged, and lo and behold, I managed to print something from my phone. I chose something innocuous at first, the rehearsal plan for this Monday's Regular Band rehearsal--but it did in fact print. I've needed to print something all week, related to the Carnegie Hall trip, but having three late nights in a row, I wasn't in the headspace yesterday to try to do that. I'll worry about actually printing that stuff tomorrow; I haven't even fully read through the email to know what to print, only that I saw it recommended printing something. Well, I should be able to make that happen now. Very exciting.
