Update on new bedding
Look, it's a post that has nothing to do with band!
Granted, I bought new bedding and everything has since gone to pot. Sigh.
So, I have a new comforter and a new sheets set. I've needed a new comforter for quite a while, and there's been a style I've seen in recent years that has stuck out to me, a colorful medallion pattern. Kohl's had one but I never bought it, so when I saw it at Walmart at Christmas it planted itself in my head, and then seeing it on clearance recently made me jump at it.
Well...I've since realized I missed checking for something important: Material. It's polyester, along with the sheets. I could tell something was weird when I pulled the sheets out and they were kind of silky. I decided to give them a shot and used them on my bed last week. ...I now have my old sheets back on this week. They do go with the comforter at least. Yeah, polyester sheets don't breathe, so they were warm at a time when I didn't necessarily need to be warm. And combined with all the stuff swirling in my head, I slept so poorly last week. I did at least mostly sleep through the night last night.
I'll go ahead and keep the comforter on my bed since it looks better than my old one. That's really all I wanted this whole time. It's nice to have a back-up set of sheets regardless, but now I know, make sure they're cotton if I buy more!
