It's showtime!
Today is Avery's birthday, and I get to spend it with her in an unusual way--she is performing in a show. This will be the first show I've seen her in in years, after regularly seeing her perform at least once a year for ages. That's why I really wanted to see her today; that one of the shows falls on her birthday makes it extra special. *And*, I get to do it with Laura, so that's especially fun. I'm also relieved that it comes as the busy season at work is tapering down, so that while I had a slightly longer week than I initially thought, it wasn't that bad overall. I'm starting to catch my breath, and even though it means it's my fourth long day this week, I'm excited for it. Hope all goes well!
