A week ago Friday, I believe it was, I started experiencing these shoots of pain in my left hip. It's nerve pain that comes on suddenly with no known reason. It comes and goes, and doesn't happen often, but when it comes it can be quite the jolt.
I'm kind of thinking it's related to my ongoing back issues, which I wouldn't doubt have been exacerbated by my not really exercising in recent months. No exercise = no core muscles = everything's all messed up in that area. I've been trying to stretch my legs to the side a bit more hoping that will help. Then today--when I actually got up early enough to exercise, whee--I noticed when I started with yoga that my back feels like it needs to be cracked. Aha. It's in that area, too. Perhaps that's the crux of the situation. It didn't crack this morning, but I can see what I can do. And if I stop having the weird nerve pain, all the better.
