Day two of my new phone. I'm still getting used to it. One of the things I had to set up Sunday night (according to the webpage I'd gotten to, before I accidentally left it and couldn't get back) was my voicemail. I don't know that I had this ability with my old phone, or if I did I ignored it, but I now have my first name on it, ooh. I did re-record it because I forget how nasal I sound on tape. I can't hear it inside my head but dang, say I'm from the Midwest without saying I'm from the Midwest, heh.
I decided to call myself from work to test it out and make sure it worked, which it did, but in trying to listen to the voicemail I came across something weird. There's an app for visual voicemail, which I thought was my regular voicemail, and it was very frustrating to be like, no, I don't want to set this up now, but there was no way to actually get to my voicemail from there. I did figure it out; I have to go into my call log and click into voicemail from there. That was fine. Then, when I got to band, I started hearing this vibrating sound coming from my bag. I quickly realized I must be getting a call...from whom?...and was shocked that it went off NINE TIMES oy. It ended up being Tracfone--when I eventually listened to the voicemail. I need to pull the app from the screen so I stop trying to listen to it from that.
My phone is also preloaded with a couple games, and Woodoku caught my eye. Alas, it wasn't Sudoku itself; it was like a form of Tetris where you pick up and place the shapes in the board. Like...give me Sudoku, people. Sigh. I know there's Solitaire and a few other things. When I have time, I'll have to explore my phone some more. There's still a lot I have to learn with it.
