Shedding like a snake

Having a birthday that involved a lot of eating the same week as a holiday that involved a lot of eating was not very conducive to my waistline. My weight has slowly crept up recently. Then, being off last week, and not being as active, and eating full meals three times a day, well, the pants were a little tighter than they've been.

Thankfully, I'm digging out from under an avalanche at work. That'll burn a few calories. I'm on my feet all day there, walking around, carrying things, and I don't get a true lunch. I get a Belvita break around 12:45. I do typically eat dinner, but if I'm not home, then I'm restricted in what I can eat, so that helps. These past couple mornings, after one night of band and one night of working late, I've already dropped several pounds. It's amazing how quickly the weight will come off with a little more movement and a little less food. All I know is that I want my pants to fit better. That helps a lot.
