After lunch yesterday, I continued my busy day. Not only did I clean my bathroom, but I also washed my shower curtain liner. I think things were growing on it. It was time. It's much better now. Amazing what hot water and bleach will do. I feel like I did more than that, but I'm not thinking clearly these days so I honestly don't remember. (I'm lucky I knew it was Monday, but I forgot when I first woke up and then nearly got started late--bad, since it's staff meeting day. It worked out, though.)
I did end up cutting my hair, after doing the bathrooms, though, which isn't ideal, but that was more pressing. My hair has been like straw for some time, just annoying me, and since the house was empty I took advantage. I just prefer cutting my hair when no one's home for some reason. The crown of my hair really needed to go, so I sort of treated it like bangs, bringing part of it forward and measuring it against my chin. That part might be a little short but it needed it. I then took the top half of the rest of my hair and cut that, which was good, then split my hair into two ponytails and followed my regular cutting regimen--I actually have directions I found online that I can follow. They're meant for someone with longer hair, so it can get tricky, but it works and my hair is better now. Of course, I just let it air dry after I finished (I did take a shower after that, as well), and when mom came home she was like, what's up with your hair? And today, when I'd had to leave for work with it wet, I hadn't done much with it either, then had the windows down on the ride home, so she saw me and asked, is that how you went to work, with your hair like that? I never like that implication, but she came over and picked a piece of hair from my head near my headband that clearly was askew. Yeah, well, wind does that. I don't think it looks that bad, but tomorrow's the real test, when I can let it dry and then try to do something with it.
