In town for a not-wedding

(As I write this, there is a Kirby on my cross-legged knee. He spent much of the day in the pokey, so I felt sorry for him. Suddenly he's very chirpy; perhaps he knows I am typing about him. He says "hi," by the way.)

If you've been keeping tabs, my cousin is not getting married tomorrow. Which is good, seeing as I ended up having to work tomorrow...and Sunday. (But don't cry for me, Argentina; the truth is, the other three keyholders worked Harry Potter Sunday, and I am off the next two weekends care of camp.) I had been wondering if perhaps my uncle would still come in from California. We got the call from my aunt last night; yes, he's in town. And my aunt is having a gathering on Sunday. Well, oops, I kinda can't be there. Now, don't get me wrong, I love all my relatives, but I don't know this uncle very well. I can recall three times that I've met him--in '84 when my family went to CA for Easter; in c. '90 when his family drove up in a motor home; and in '97 when my grandma died. There were probably a few more times but I don't remember. I wouldn't mind seeing other family members, though. I haven't seen Kevin or his dad in a long time. Well, guess I'll have to hope my dad brings his camera.
