Pink princess toes

I bailed on doing library work tonight, in part because the next three days will be busy--two of them with band--and in part because the director isn't in town. I'll go into why later. Instead, I came home and enjoyed myself. Because mom was out--she's been on vacation this week--and dad was happy with leftovers, I didn't even have to cook. So, I spent part of my time repainting my toenails. I'm not a huge fan of nail polish, especially on my fingers, but I do like having my toes done. I've needed to redo them, too, but I actually painted my nails for Halloween because I had glow-in-the-dark polish I wanted to wear. I couldn't remove the toe polish until I was ready to do my fingers. That happened yesterday. So, with bare nails, I was ready to repaint, and I went with this sparkly pink polish I have. Imagine Barbie attending a ball; that's the sort of pink this is. It is a happy, cheery color as we get into the darker months. The only issue is that I'm not the most careful pedicurist, so between that and doing this in the not-quite-bright light of my bedroom, well, my toes are on the sloppy side. Oh well. They sparkle. And I can clean them up tomorrow.
