Last night out?
I had a work thing tonight, probably the last one for a long time. Things are tapering off, though we'll still have a larger than normal workload for another couple weeks. I'm so ready for things to calm down. I didn't even get a lunch break during the day, we were so busy, but that was in part due to being short-staffed today as well, since it's someone's normal day off and someone else (actually two people, though one's in a different department) was sick. Naturally, that's when the phones rang, and rang, and rang, and the only other person available to answer them is like me and doesn't like to put someone on hold to answer the other phones. Alas, voicemail does not automatically kick in, but what are you going to do. We got through it.
