So, this isn't exactly true...I never took the SAT. But I did get a 29 on my ACT. I was perfectly happy with that, especially because at the time I thought the score was out of 32 and not 36 (and was shocked the following year when someone scored a 34 but still wanted to retake it). So, yeah, that's my one-time-only ACT score. Hey, I still did better than a cousin and my best friend at the time, though I think my best friend retook it. And I'm smart enough that all these years later I figured out my SAT equivalent was 1288 (actually 1289, as the eight repeats, but whatever). I had been thinking it was around 1300, so that's cool.
