my sort of date

what is a "sort of date" you ask? a sort of date is when you are about 95% sure that it was a date, but no one actually used the word date, so there is this lingering doubt in the back of your head as to whether or not it was actually a date despite what all your friends say! so anyway, i had a sort of date with a guy named ralph. he is josh's best friend, and i went to middle college with him, so that's how i met him. he is the one who was going to teach me how to drive stick, but never called. i'm still not really sure why it took him so long, lol, but he called me friday night. i told him i already knew how to drive my car now, but we could hang out if he wanted to, so we decided to see a movie that night. we ended up missing the movie because he was late, but he explained and it wasn't his fault. his friend wanted to see the movie too, and so ralph said he could come with us, but then at the last minute his friend decided not to go, and ralph had to drive him back to his car. so ralph called me to let me know what was going on, and we decided to skip the movie and go bowling. when he got to my apartment, he brought me a pumpkin and some really pretty mums that he had picked (his parents own a garden center in high point and he works for them). it was really sweet! he was very awkward a cute the whole time like he wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to be doing, but i had a good time and whether it was a date or not i definately want to see him again. i was trying to find a picture of this actor that josh showed me because ralph looks EXACTLY like him. it's kinda scary, lol. but i don't remember the actor's name. i'd never heard of him or any of the stuff that he was in, but he was in a ton of movies. anyway, if i find out who it was, i'll put a picture of him up here so you guys can see. for now, i think i am going to bed.
