Hi everyone! Yeah, it's been a while. But, since the semester has started, I am procrastinating. and since I need reasons to procrastinate... I'm updating this thing.
Took GREs last week. 480 verbal/790 math (that's outta 800). I guess that's okay. I may or may not retake them, depending on my writing score.
Classes started on Monday. Taking 13 credits, because that's all I need in order to graduate. So I'm taking Linear Algebra, Artificial Intelligence, Quasars and Cosmology, and Technical and Professional Communication. They should all be pretty easy, except for AI. Which may manage to kill me. And we have to program in Scheme, which I've never used before.
I made a great first impression on my Tech/Pro Communication Prof. And I when I say 'great' I say it sarcastically.
I was sitting in class, and I'm thinking - dude, my professor looks like Steve from Jerry Springer. So I'm just sitting there thinking this every time I look at him.
Halfway through class, he looks up in the middle of lecture, and goes "Does anyone have any questions???"
Well, I did. I raise my hand and ask "Do you know that you look like Steve from Jerry Springer??"
The class thought it was funny.. but the professor... did not. I don't think he knows who Steve is. He looked confused.
I've adopted a new philosophy for the beginning of this semester. That is, once I start doing homework - like every other semester - I'm going to pretty much be doing homework for the rest of the semester.
This is why I am procrastinating. Big time. I haven't done any work all week, and I don't plan on doing my first assignment until the morning that it is due. After that, I will not feel obligated to procrastinate.
I'm not even sure if that made sense to anyone. But, eh, it makes sense to me.
