Or those of the technological/camera snapping/photo editing nature.
The past week, a co-worker and I have been having a bit of a tuffle in regards to photo editing. I don't even remember how it came up, but he mentioned Illustrator as the smash for editing photos. Oh? Not Photoshop? Nope, Illustrator proclaimation, followed with a proper schooling as to why it reigned over Photoshop. Not many good points were made, but for the sake of peace, just agreed to disagree and went along the usual business.
Fast forward to this morning. As soon as I walk into the office he comes up and presents two photos of the same object, asking me which was the better print. There was a slight saturation difference with one photo, and since I liked the way the colors came out, picked that one. The dude actually started doing a little dance and began chanting ILLUSTRATOR, ILLUSTRATOR, ILLUSTRATOR. Um yea, that kind of got under my skin in a way it really shouldn't. My only regret was not having a video camera to record that little dance and somehow figure out a way to send it to the whole office.
He wants to use Illustrator as a photo editing platform, good job! Don't try to convince me that using Photoshop is wrong, it's personal preference. The most awesome Erica lent some fabulous insight to this dude's crazy, and I most appreciate her .. as a whole. ERICA LOVE. To you other nifty cats, what do you think? In regards to photo editing, which would you utilize = Illustrator or Photoshop? Have at it, thanks =)
BTW, Daphne Loves Derby's new demo song,
Envy, I adore it.
Who's to say these misfits won't find their way?
Where is love when it's needed most?
Did it burn away the moment we all looked away?
