Presidential Election.

I hope EVERYONE voted yesterday! If you didn't, YOU will be to blame if Bush is still in office!
Bush is winning in the electoral votes by 254 and Kerry 252. But there are still two states...
I hope Bush doesn't win...otherwise I will find myself doubting democracy. No that's incorrect. I will believe that this country more conservative than I ever imagined. Let's face it; this country DOES NOT separate church and state(I guess it's good that we try). It's bad enough that there are states that had a ballot banning same-sex marriages. It's saddens me to see that it is winning in ALL the states!!!

History has a strange way of repeating itself. Remember the Civil Rights movement? Of course you don't, we weren't born yet, but in history class. African Americans were denied RIGHTS...Jim Crow laws of the South prevented their REAL freedom and Citizenship rights. It took a 100 yrs after slavery ended for things to change. Are we going to have to wait that long to allow same-sex marriages? Afterall we are talking about HUMAN BEINGS...two HUMANS in love and wishing to be united. No matter what anyone says our species is a pair-bonding species. Deep down we desire a partner for our lifetime--are we being fair denying a symbolic ceremony of unity? If we look at the issue closely it's not even about the legal aspect or even about the symbolism of marriage...it's about allowing two people have their RIGHTS...to be joined in marriage.
The sit-ins of the 1960's in resturants wasn't about getting food--it was about BEING SERVED. TO BE TREATED FAIRLY DESPITE THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN!!!!!!!!
How can this country not see the connection???!?!?!?! WE ARE DENYING RIGHTS! WE ARE SUPPRESSING!
It's history repeating itself!!!!!
I know if Kerry doesn't win, it's because of his Moderate ideology. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry this whole election has me stressed.
