late entry
I never write in this anymore. I figure nothing is happening right now that would interest anyone. Plus, it takes effort to write entries. Not EVERYTHING right now is boring...I just don't feel like telling people what's up yet.
Maybe, I won't at all. Who knows?
I'm pretty sure the only reason why I'm writing right now is because I'm at school and sitting in environmental science. We're in the computer lab today and I can't find the charts I need to finish my project. So, I gave up :)
We have a substitute today; the coolest part about it is that he's my next door neighbor. He's this REALLY old guy named Spencer who's known me since I was born. It's so cool...except for when he tries to talk talk about his pets. They have like, 18 cats or something.
Last night, I discovered that my dad finally put the new light fixtures in our bathroom. For once, it was nice to forget about the light not working, flip the switch and be totally amazed that the light turned on.
Our house is lookin' real nice...totally classy. New carpet, paint, tile, bathroom, kitchen. Damn...that's a lot of new stuff. Oh, and my dad put a lamp post or whatever outside in the front yard. It reminds me of the lion the witch and the wardrobe because of that single light post in the middle of the forest.
Monday was my dad's first official day of not having a job anymore. Apparently, he's starting his own company...I have no fucking clue how that is going to work out. But I have faith in my dad's business decisions. I'm sure he has enough experience to do something like that. The other day, I was reading my brother's live journal and he was talking about how my dad was in the top 10% of people who do what he does. I had NO idea. Daaamn, my dad is a bad ass!
