Finally a real update.
So. Today was interesting.
Tanya's been missing since yesterday around noonish. I'd been out at the store with Elijah and Grandma had let her out and she "took off" (in Grandma's words). So this morning after I got back from a walk to Stanley Park with Elijah I decided it was finally time to make a few phone calls. Sure enough, she'd ended up in doggie jail. Poor Tanya. So I spent today running around like a chicken with its head cut off to get her out. Had to pay $25 to get her out, and since she wasn't licensed and not up to date on her rabies vaccination, I had to leave a $50 deposit to take her. I have three days to get her licensed if I want my money back. So I looked and looked and looked for somewhere to get her a rabies shot. After calling a few different vets who told me they didn't know of any rabies clinics within the next couple of days, and it would cost $50-$60 to get it done at a normal vet, someone smart finally told me - hey, there's one tonight nearby! So Grandma, me, Elijah, Tanya, and Aslan went out tonight and the animals got their rabies vaccinations for $15 each. So that was only $30 - Elijah doesn't count.
And then I went over to Dad's house to work. Putting together CDs, part of my part-time job.
And now I'm home.
And tomorrow we're going to get Tanya's license, then we're getting our money back, then we're going to get our passports, and then maybe later we're going to get Elijah a haircut, and then tomorrow night I'm recording (the other part of my part-time job).
Busy busy.
Oh, and Donnie lost his Plastipak job because of the seizures, for all who didn't know. Back to good old Home Depot - but hey, whatever works.
Oh, and Donnie and I are going to Mexico this summer, for all who didn't know. July 26th-August 2nd. Yay, I get to go to Lily of the Valley again. <3
