Be a Bee

Hey Everybody. I was thinking today about how we all hold onto our sins and live in the past sometimes, and what we should do about it, and this metaphor/analogy hit me. I call it the "Bumblebee Analogy".

Ok here it goes:

People are bumblebees, and sin is like pollen. We all go around doing things that collect this pollen. Now, we all carry around on us for a certain amount of time, but eventually we should put this pollen in a flower (God). If we put the pollen in the flower, then that flower will make seeds, and those seeds will spread out so far away from you that you will never see you again. The seeds will grow into beautiful flowers (these flowers represent how God can use our mistakes to teach others and ourselves).

What I mean is that if we give our sins to God, then he will forgive us, and give us a clean slate if you will. He will make our sins as from us as the east is from the west. But if we hold on to this "pollen", then it becomes so heavy that it won't allow us to "fly" (grow).

So, be a good bee, and give God your "pollen" to Him. That way, you can fly and see His Glory.

In Christ,
Calin
