You don't sleep enough as it is. Don't think I haven't noticed. [Only very recently but shhh.] What are you researching?

Immature populations and the effect they got on the City. Like what would the City be like if it was entirely populated by one of the really old races, like Time Lords 'steada mostly humans.

[Yes she rehearsed that in the brief moments she had between noticing what the network had broadcast, the realization that he would be interested and that she couldn't tell him the truth.]

[Sorry Rose.] What made you think to call older races immature ones? Not that I disagree - it's a lot of the time the oldest people who get the most... childish about things. Live too long, get too settled.

[What momentary 'oh' he experiences is immediately replaced with a mix of mild horror and distaste.] No, no, that's quite alright. You have fun. I don't think that's a good idea. Drive him mental in a few hours. And he's so polite. It doesn't make sense. How can anyone be that polite?

Actually meant to call the human races the immature ones. Y'know everywhere we go you tell 'em that we've got potential.

Addin' that to my resolutions. Still got to get 'round to finger paintin' a wall in the flat. We can add artist to my title then.

Might ought to just wait until one of us gets hit with whatever blasted tiny-ray they like to use here again - and that's a when, not an if - since that's when most of our artistic talents seem to emerge anyway. Unless you've been hiding skills from me.
