Living back here in Temecula has made me a boring person....
I love my parents and I am grateful for everything they've done for me in the past 22 years, including letting me live here this semester even when they thought they'd gotten rid of me. But living in their house is not very exciting.
All I know is, however, when I come home from school, I generally don't leave the house till the next day when I go to my internship, or vice versa. I know that part of it is my valiant attempts to save money--staying in is free. But when I think back to before when I was down in San Diego, I was [somewhat] frequently going out with my friends and such. I don't know. Here in Temecula the only people I hang out with are Angela and Amy, and that is only on the weekends. So my weekdays are pretty... dull.
I don't want this to sound like complaining, because I really don't intend for it to come off that way.
Its just safe to say I'm looking forward to living in McPherson come January not only because of Doug, but because I will be surrounded by lots of awesome people my own age :) and without school, I should have time to hang out with them too! Yay!
Early list of New Year's Resolutions (to be revised and expanded)
- Continue to not shop at Wal-Mart. 2009 has been great... only 7 weeks until I can officially call it a success. This will be much harder in McPherson and will take much more definite resolve.
- Be more outgoing as far as getting to know people who come into my life.
- Join 1 or 2 volunteer organizations in McPherson which do things weekly/monthy or both.
- Find a good church to go to in Mac every Sunday
