Subject: An article for you from Robert Schoen , who has a CB in New Orleans:

I would like to explore the unusual circumstances that have been largely unreported in the media that occurred in the wake of Katrina. As a lifelong resident of the city, it seems in the recent past we've had at least three hurricanes which seemed to be heading directly for New Orleans, but that miraculously turned away from it at the last minute. I had always attributed these last minute course corrections to Carmelite nuns in the past, and was hoping against hope that it would be repeated once again with Katrina, which was almost as big as the Gulf of Mexico and whose eye was the size of Lake Ponchartrain itself.

Amazingly again, Katrina turned from its dead on course to New Orleans at the last minute and we all thought we had been spared the worse. Although there was severe flooding in some areas caused by a breakage in the industrial canal, the levees held, and the force of the winds and rain created a relatively acceptable level of damage compared to what could be expected from a category 4 hurricane whose winds in New Orleans were in the range of category three.

But then the next day, the 17th St. canal levee broke as well the London St. levee and others around the city. A complete phone and communications outage enveloped not only the city but the entire outlying area as well, greatly hampering the initial efforts to stem the levee breaks and other crises. The scattered and sheltered residents of the city were completely cut off from one another and from finding out what was going on. The pumping stations, including the new multimillion dollar one near the cemeteries all failed.

Despite the chaos and confusion in the hours after the hurricane, a lightning fast reorganization of the news coverage on the conservative and almost monopolistic Clear Channel radio stations and regional television station conglomerates went into effect immediately, even as much of the region was left without power.

The reorganized media seemed to have an agenda in its coverage. The overemphasis on the looters, which anyone who lived in New Orleans could have predicted, a very deliberate minimization of the number of lives that were lost, and an obscuring of exactly how much of the city was left dry and intact. On Friday evening's ABC hour long newscast, for example, it was filmed on the city's Canal Street, making it look like Venice, when in fact they were standing in mere inches of water. None of the wall to wall coverage explored the simultaneous and suspicious levee breaches, pump failures and collapse of the land and cell phone system, as well as the jamming of ham radio frequencies.

Cell phone towers are completely autonomous switching stations with two super computers that are cooled and powered by their own propane generators when city power is disrupted. They are designed with military redundancy and a built in toughness for survival in disasters. Also if they were to fail en mass, their wealthy parent companies and subsidiaries have the capacity to send in temporary mobile cell phone towers that are normally employed at sporting and other large events to augment coverage during heavy usage. Land lines, cell phones and BlackBerries remained non-functioning immediately afterwards and were never fixed. Additionally Ham radio operators, who can usually communicate anywhere on the globe report they have not been able to get through the region, as if their signal and frequencies were being jammed. On Meet the Press, the President of Jefferson Parish Aaron Broussard stated on that FEMA secretly clipped the lines of that parish's emergency communications system. They found the severed lines, repaired it and then Sheriff Harry Lee posted armed guards to protect it.

The Red Cross website states they were turned away from New Orleans by the National Guard, and there are numerous other reports of emergency aid being turned down by federal officials and FEMA.

The price of gasoline and oil has already risen astronomically, to the extent that some are calling the oil companies the real looters in Katrina's aftermath. Other pin striped looters appear in the form of real estate agents who are going around the city with video cameras, scoping out the potential hot properties in the dryer regions of the city in the inevitable buyer's market that will follow when city dwellers are allowed to return, if they ever do. Of course they won't allow the homeowners and businesses who could help save the city to return, at least to secure their lifetime investments, even though somehow these predatory speculators are given free reign.

The world and even this country by now already know how FEMA, the Red Cross, and the federal government stood passively by, letting the worse happen, for five days without lifting a finger. To some it mirrored this country's puny response to the Christmas timed tsunami, when it snowed in New Orleans for the first time in recent memory. To some, it almost seemed this indifference to life may be an indication that what was going on was exactly what they wanted to happen. Dennis Hastert's comments that perhaps New Orleans should not be rebuilt certainly seemed to confirm this sentiment.

The horrors of uncared for refugees in the Superdome and convention center are likely to be repeated in the inevitable tent cities FEMA is planning in the outlying areas. How long will it be before these refugee camps are compared to the Iraqi prison camps at Guantanamo Bay?

I am writing this to ask the bigger questions of why, after Katrina had done its worst and left the city largely intact, did the breaches in the levees occur only many hours after the hurricane had already passed? Why was there a failure of all the city's pumps when they were needed most? How was the media able to reorganize so quickly when so much of the city's government and vital infrastructure left disorganized, without communication and in tatters for day on end? Why were ham radio frequencies being jammed? Why was there an endemic failure of the cell phone towers, each of which had their own generator? Why weren't emergency temporary mobile towers and other alternative forms of communication brought in immediately, if only for city management use?

Why were dogs in the city running around in circles and acting so wired before the hurricanes approach? Certainly animals seem to have an extra sense of oncoming disasters and seem better equipped to protect themselves than humans during such events, but some dog owners in the city noted that their dog's actions before this hurricane were different than from others. Perhaps the dogs were feeling a large scalar signal pointed at New Orleans. The HAARP array in Alaska is one such technology capable of weather control. The official website of the Air Force has stated that its goal is to control the weather by 2025. Other nations such as Japan and Russia have also pursued this weather controlling technology and the United Nations has even written laws banning the use of such technology to launch catastrophic weather conditions against other nations.

The four hurricanes of 2004 that all hit Florida defy statistical probability. The size and force of Katrina was completely out of the norm for most tropical systems that develop in this region. If scalar weather manipulation was involved in the development and "pointing" of Katrina, we would have to ask why anyone would do such a thing. Was there a benign secret government effort to try to stop or steer away the hurricane that didn't work? It would never be possible that our own government would want to drive a category 5, then 4, hurricane into the path of its most vulnerable city. Look how terrible 9/11 was for the psyche of this country, and how it mistakenly led to a war based on the false premise of terrorists with weapons of mass destruction. Certainly this catastrophe to New Orleans and the oil producing shore of Mississippi would only lead to a further down turned national economy and a predictable rise in oil prices.

Then why does it seem that when the hurricane itself did not accomplish the expected damage and flooding, a "plan B" was instigated to break the levees
during the night after?

Why is there no inquiry about the complete communications dead zone from cell phone tower outages and ham radio signals from the media? Why aren't residents of the dry areas allowed to return and help restore the city? Certainly Entergy workers could be allowed to make limited restorations to keep businesses and the city itself alive.

Already the most productive and talented dispossessed citizens of New Orleans are rebuilding their lives and families elsewhere, many never to return. We are certainly living in interesting times, times that demand answers to questions nobody seems to want to ask. Why is it that the New Orleans director of Homeland Security said it looked to him that FEMA reacted as if this was their first hurricane? Who will profit from this tragedy? The oil industry? Halliburton?

I challenge and welcome anyone to provide evidence that I am wrong on any of the points raised in this article. I also ask you to consider what this means about your leaders if I am correct.
