I think we must be cautious in what we assume these events to be. We must be careful not to immediately assume they are a threat or dangerous. Of course, caution is advised in all things, and I wouldn't want anyone to be complacent - but if, as the common theory prevails, you think it might be magic or something more spiritual - it may not necessarily be malignant.
I would also heavily suggest more scientific theories were looked into first. As they are more likely to provide a viable solution.
I was, on another note, looking at establishing a list of emergency contacts - people who can be informed if you are hurt beyond the point of informing them yourselves. I've already asked the wardens, but would this be something acceptable to everyone?
