As for treating non-humans, if they're bleeding from somewhere, it's a good idea to stop it, otherwise, get someone to help you.

I was fairly sure that stopping bleeding was a standard medical procedure across the universe. Who is the best to ask for assistance on such matters? I understand yourself and Dr Smith are more qualified in them, but is there any others I should ask?
