I'm at the in-law's.  I picked Ewan up from preshcool yesterday and we headed to the Wendy's by the highway for lunch.  We hit the bathroom first and then I managed to eat most of my lunch before Ewan spilled his chocolate milk.  So we packed up and hit the bathroom one last time b/c Liam smelled funny.  He had indeed pooped and I made Ewan go again since we were there.  That was such an ordeal that I skipped going myself figuring I could make it the hour and a half to Dublin.  Ewan fell asleep 15 minutes into the drive.  About 10 miles before we hit I-270, Liam decided he had to eat, so I found a gas station and parked behind it.  I nursed him in the passenger seat while Ewan slept, all the while my bladder was feeling fuller.  By the time Liam finished, I was seriously uncomfortable.  But when Ewan is asleep you can NOT wake him, so I was stuck.  SO, I grabbed my empty Wendy's cup ang squatted right there in the car!  The things we do for our kids!
Last night, I ventured into Columbus and had dinner with my sister.  I saw her house (not the worst off campus housing ever) and then we went to Buca di Beppo in the Arena District.  It was yummy and Liam flirted with every member of the waitstaff.  Beth and Mom are having the first rough spot in their relationship (at 19 its about time if you ask me!) so it was nice to see her with my own eyes and hear her side of things.  I'll definitely have to brow beat her into coming to Wilmington some weekend.
Today we took the boys to Picture People to have pumpkin hat pictures taken.  What an ordeal!  Ewan would NOT hold still (which is unlike him) and Liam would babble and smile until she was ready to take the picture and then promptly put on his sour face.  So we got 2 poses of both b4 Ewan decided he'd had enough and then we did a couple more of just Liam.  BUT, she forgot to adjust the lighting and half his face is in shadow in every shot.  Very dissapointing!
Then we headed to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins.  (What a dumb sentence!  What else would we pick? Rutabaga?!?)  Ewan refused to pick out a pumpkin.  He only wanted gourds.  6 gourds later, we brow breat him into picking one.
Matt should be here soon.  His mom has a list of stuff for him & his dad to do.  Liam's been more friendly so I'm planning on going out by myself tomorrow.  I NEED to hit JoAnn's and Whole Foods and I WANT to go to the local yarn store, but we'll see what I can fit in. :)

liam, family, ewan
