About Xander and that girl, her name Renee. I think... something happened, that he didn't want to hurt someone, but also after - Willow says there was badness and she's been stabbed - she didn't say whether she lived or not, but either way, I think Xander feels responsible and doesn't want to talk about her or anything related because it's still too fresh. His feelings for you and me haven't changed, he just can't talk right now about what's going on in his head.
