I just got the latest issue of Cycle World. Steve Anderson's article is fantastic. He tells a great tale about how a large American corporation purchased and then screwed over a smaller company with its bad decisions and jealousy. In the end over 200 people lost their jobs and Harley Davidson gave their CEO a few extra million dollars for being an asshole and loosing twice as much money for the company. What a fantastic example to set in a recession. Obviously the people doing the real work should be turned out into the cold while the guy living like a parasite off their work gets more money to burn. The guy may be able to juggle numbers but is that what you really want at the end of the day? A guy who knows jack shit about motorcycles and the American way is now in charge of an American legend and he and his associates are well on their way to running it into the ground. Then again, maybe this is the new American way. It sure seams like a common theme these days to see business people, lawyers, and pussies ruining what is left of this country. And all the Willie G. kiss-asses out there should note that he let it happen. Then again most of those guys are lawyers, business people, and pussies too or, as they call them on South Park, fags.
It's all for the best though. It's better to have EBR out there now when the company is still well known for its success in racing. It won't be long before EBR takes off and begins to make money while H-D continues to decline.
