I was going to sleep when...
I just got home and took a shower. I was about to go to sleep after my late night meal when I turned on the TV and saw the end to one of my favorite movies of all time. Now I can't sleep. Christ I love the movie, "Tombstone". It was one of the first films I ever bought on DVD... maybe the first. The cool part is that TNT actually let the credits roll at the end instead of speeding them through. I love the closing sequence of the Holliday and the Earp brothers walking down the streets of Tombstone toward the OK Corral. And don't even get me started on the gun fight at the end between Holliday and Ringo. It reminds me of the last swordfight between the two masters in "Sanjuro". I can't imagine somebody being a fan of Chambara films and not enjoying a good western. They are practically the same thing. ...just damn good movies about real men being real men while they find their path through life at the close of an era.
