Long way left.

When it all came down to it, it had been almost 5 months. 5 long boring months of monogomy. 5 dragged out months of not making obnoxiously loud noises. 5 pointless months of lip softening. Most importantly though, 5 long months with no free beer. All that is about to change though. Well, most of it anyway.

Last night was the first band practice in, yup, you guessed it, 5 months. It was actually the first time I have even picked up the trombone since the last show. I picked up the t-bone, transforming straight B into B-bone.

As some of you may know, you need to condition your lip with some of these crazy contraptions called brass instruments. Certain notes cannot easily be reached without a jacked lip. It took me most of my Regio career to aquire this lip. When I first started playing my lip would split every practice and every show. During the last few months of Regio I could play two shows in a night and only show some redness.

So last night we played. We played our asses off. I'm suprised I even remembered how to play the songs. Sure I had trouble with a couple of them, but I laughed it off. Kind of like we laughed at my bloody lip. Thats right, my lip split hardcore. It hurts to even kiss my girlfriend. Good thing I have other things she can kiss........giggity. Annnnnyways, I forgot how much of a pain in the ass it was to build my lip up.

So, heres to looking like I have herpes on my middle upper lip for the next few months.

"Damn nigga, that shit on your lip's got some shit on it's lip."
