Goings on.

I just realised how long it has been since I actually sat down and last updated my journal. Sadly though despite having done a lot since then I can't remember anything that happened, or can think of anything worth writing down. Heh, my life seems to be boring sometimes (actually a lot of the time).

Had church camp on the weekend, but due to Heather having an exam on Saturday morning we weren't able to head up the coast to the camp until Saturday afternoon (with the camp having started on Friday night). Much to my amusement (and later on constanation) I found out the the guys in the dorm I was in had placed a stink bomb in the girls dorm the previous night and therefore created all sort of havoc. I don't think they got much sleep that night due to the smell. While this may seem rather childish and immature it was rather amusing. But the girls retaliated the next night (and the only night I was there) by sneaking into the guys dorm and hiding 4 alarm clocks in our room timed to go off at different times during the night (ncluding hiding one way up in the skylight). Sadly though of the 12 or so guys in our dorm, the alarms only woke about 3 of us up. Talk about a bunch of heavy sleepers!

Wedding plans are coming along well, and as you are all probably aware of by now Heather and I managed to successfully apply for a rental house. Its a nice place that is closer to the city (and therefore Heather's work), closer to church, close to public transport...and the list goes on. So we have been very blessed. Unfortunately my job situation is still not the best it could be, but that is another story entirely.

Spoke to suds_from_aus on the phone last night. No doubt I sounded rather dopey and out of it but as always it is good to chat to her, tease her with something to do about Tassie, and generally catch up with each other. Very cool.

My car has gone in for a service this morning and already I have had 2 calls from the service people saying this and that needs to be done on top of the regular servicing - I agreed to 1 of their request and declined the second. *sighs* This is the only downside of having a car. But if this is the worst that happens then I'm doing well :)

I think that about covers it all for the moment. Must dissapear and do something or other. Something important. Just can't remember what it is at the moment.
