Preparation

Both sensei were in class today.  They were like a couple of school kids - kidding around, giggling.  It's probably a good thing they don't teach simultaneously very often. :-)

We independently worked on the kata we will be doing in enbu tomorrow.
We asked all the questions that needed asking.
We received last minute tips on our technique.
I guess we are as ready as we can be for the shinsakai tomorrow.

I have my bag packed with a change of clothes (for the picnic), deodorant (it appears the showers in the locker rooms are under construction tomorrow), snacks to keep me alive (peanuts, power bars), water, asthma medicine, and a camera.
I am washing my gi and the new TRI polo shirt we just bought and received tonight.
I cleaned the smudges on the knees of my just dry cleaned and pressed hakama.
I know where we are meeting to carpool to Lansing tomorrow (at 6:30 AM!!).
I just finished making the family a stir fry dinner.  The dogs were fed before I left for class.

I'm ready!

Tomorrow is going to be fun.  Enbu will be fun.  Learning the changes to the kata will be interesting...which will make it fun.  Tameshigiri will be REALLY FUN.  And the picnic afterwards will be fun too.

Whee!
