CHARACTER INFO
Character name: Jack Wynand
Character Canon: Bioshock
Character Age: Physically and mentally in his early twenties
Character History: http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Jack
Character Personality:
Jack goes through the game as a silent protagonist. Gameplay and in-game events lead the player to believe that Jack is:

Obedient- Jack goes through the game much like a puppy dog, following every order given to him without a second thought. The phrase 'would you kindly' has him conditioned to automatically follow commands given to him, though the phrase is used sparingly as Jack is just so eager to please.

Naïve: Jack was genetically altered to age very quickly. To quote the wiki, “Jack weighed fifty-six pounds and had the gross musculature of a fit nineteen-year-old by the age of one.” He was born in 1956 and returned to Rapture in 1960, putting him at just four years old when the game starts, despite looking like a fully grown adult. Audio diaries found throughout the game suggest the he had memories implanted of a family on the surface, which explains why he is unaware of his own origins. How in-depth these memories are is hard to gauge. Still, Jack shows several instances of behaving like a child. For example, the first time he encounters a glowing needle filled with glowing chemicals, he jabs it into his arm without question- despite no order being given from Atlas. Most reasonable adults would think twice before injecting themselves with anything, let alone with a rusty syringe with a tip that looks to be roughly the size of a bendy straw.

Quiet: Despite having a voice actor, Jack spends the rest of the game silent save for the noises he makes when injured. The only instance that Jack ever speaks is in the opening sequence-- a whopping three sentences of internal dialogue.

Do gooder: One of the few instances where Jack is given a choice in the game is whether to harvest or save the little sisters he encounters. Harvesting is a process that removes every drop of ADAM from the host, but is fatal. Saving them, does exactly what the name implies. It kills the source of the ADAM, the sea slug in the girl's stomach, and returns them to a state of normalcy. In this Canon AU, Jack chooses to save all of the little sisters he comes across, despite the ADAM being a valuable tool that would help him better defend himself. Atlas calls him a fool for doing this, but Tenenbaum praises his compassion.

The fateful Mind Control Test, audio diary further backs up his do gooding by proving that Jack doesn't get any enjoyment from hurting innocent things.

In order to keep Jack unaware that he is being manipulated, Atlas keeps the 'would you kindly' commands to a minimum, choosing instead, to manipulate him via gaining his sympathy. He speaks constantly of his wife and kids being in danger and this is enough for Jack to risk his own life to help.

Curious: While traveling through Rapture, Jack rifles through the pockets of the dead, cracks safes, roots through cash registers, and most interestingly of all, collects audio diaries that piece together the happenings of Rapture.

Character Powers:
Gene Tonics-
Wrench Lurker (Increases damage dealt with the wrench and quiets his footsteps for easy sneaking)
Static Discharge (Causes the user to emit an electric burst when touched. Also counts as a weakness as it is not picky and will shock even well-meaning folks.)

Physical-
Blood lust (Gain EVE via hitting an enemy with a wrench)
Booze hound (Drinking alcohol will restore EVE)
Natural Camouflage (Jack goes invisible after standing still for a short period of time)

Plasmids
Electro Bolt 2 (A long range attack that will harm and temporarily stun enemies. It deals more damage if an enemy is standing in water but will also harm the user.)
Telekinesis (Telekinetic powers that do not use a lot of EVE. Can be used to lift, carry, and hurl heavy objects. Living organic tissue can not be picked up.)
Character Weaknesses:
Jack is (though genetically altered) only human. He isn't wearing any body armor and isn't overly strong, fast, or smart.

He has been mentally conditioned to obey any command including the phrase 'would you kindly.' The phrase 'code yellow' will make his heart stop beating after a short time, effectively killing him. At the canon point that I'm taking him from, Jack is completely unaware that the words have any power over him.

His supernatural abilities also take EVE to use, and if this runs out, he will be unable to use them.

Character Possessions:
One pipe wrench
One pistol along with 21 regular rounds and 16 armor-piercing rounds
Two first aid kits
Four EVE Hypos
One pack of cigarettes
One camera
Character Notes:

Sample RP:
Jack backed up quickly as the Big Daddy swung at his face- almost too quickly given the amount of water on the floor. The Big Daddy did not seem to be hindered by the slick surface, but Jack's shoes slipped with every step. The echoing growls of the man in the dive suit grew louder as he prepared for a second charge. The little girl in the back urged him on. Her voice, still that of a child, was shrill and disturbingly delighted as she spurred her guardian into a frothy blood lust.
He wanted very much to save her. The little girl in the tattered dress was trapped; unaware that she was a slave to the unspeakable sciences that the underwater city had birthed. She did not deserve the fate she had been given. He was going to change the course for her, just as soon as he took down the thing in the dive suit.

Jack gritted his teeth and thrust his left hand out to fire off a bolt of electricity. The charge was instant, but he could feel every cell contract to push it out. The blue lightning tore out of his fingertips accompanied by the faint whiff of burned flesh. The Big Daddy froze for a moment as the electricity raced through its body. Jack darted forward and swung the wrench- once- twice--

The stun did not hold as long as it should have. Rusty metal groaned as the dive suit was forced to move.. Jack grunted as the creature pinned him to the wall. His feet were off the floor, scrambling to push it off of him. He couldn't use electro bolt- not with it touching him. His ribs creaked under the pressure and he looked up with wide, horrified eyes as the drill attached to the creature's arm began to spin.

There was a shimmer, like looking through a port-hole, and then he found himself falling. At first, he assumed that he had died and that what he saw was the inside of a Vita-Chamber. It took him being engulfed by the ocean to make him reconsider that thought. It did not make sense-- even if the Big Daddy had somehow punched him through a window, he should have floated up, not fallen down.

Jack kicked to the surface and coughed up a mouthful of saltwater when he broke it. Rapture was nowhere in sight. Neither was anything else.
