(no subject)
So, it's been a long time, LJ land. A lot has occurred. For the past two months, I've been chilling in Savannah, treading water.
But alas, it is Thanksgiving, and things are about to get rather hectic.
Wednesday, Francis and I leave for Florida to spend Thanksgiving with his family. Then upon our return, I have to move all of the contents of my apartment to a storage facility on Monday. Then Tuesday, I will drive home to Birmingham to stay until Christmas. I will be working for my mom and earning some much-needed cash.
Then Christmas Eve, I fly with my family and Francis to Hawaii. New Year's Day, we return, all bronzed and beautiful.
Then the next week, I'm New York City bound. I found an apartment in midtown west, and it's awesome. Francis and I will be moving into it together and decorating to our hearts' content.
I'll be working for zero dollars at an internship. There are two options in the air, and I'm not sure which will be the final choice, so I won't name any names on livejournal. But hopefully after the internship, I'll be hireable, and I can contribute to the rent and those types of things.
Well, now in my non-busy moments, I get a little worried because New York City is expensive and I don't have much earning potential. But I think with my savings and a little help from my 'rents, I should be ok.
