I just came home from Queens Center, where I hung out with Ana for a few hours. We made friends with the two girls working at Hot Topic because they were just like us, and I made Ana sing for them. I got my mom's gift from Victoria's Secret Body, because I didn't have any luck finding Johnny Depp merchandise that wasn't Edward Scissorhands or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory related. (She's more of a Jack Sparrow lover.)
I bought Blender magazine, because Coldplay was on the cover and it says there's an article in it about The Killers and The Bravery. All of the above = Heaven for me. Especially Chris Martin who looks adorably demented and mischievious in this picture. ^_^ '
After browsing for a while and deciding against coming to my house, we found a couch to sit on in the mall and sat for like a half hour reading, because we were both dorks who decided to bring books with us to the mall. She read The Half-Blood Prince and I read The DaVinci Code, which I'm definitely finishing tonight because I have exactly 69 pages left. (I used the Calculator function on my phone to confirm that fact. ^_~)
On the way home, an old man passed by me and started muttering something about "crazy kids these days" and shook his head at me. Is purple hair really such a travesty? After that I called Chris to see if Thursday was good for hanging out. We're either doing that or Friday, so I shall await his call tonight.
P.S. I hate it when people keep things from me, especially when it's obvious something's going on. Well, I guess some things aren't my business then. I suppose I'll just let my cruel imagination work its wonders and think the worst.
