just had a wonderful lunch with sheila. she and i have really become good friends, even though our relationship began strictly as work associates. she has given me such great advice and we have formed a bond that reminds me of alicia, cause she's really the only one ive gotten close to that also worked with me.
in other news, add the band Ateura to your friends list on myspace and listen to their new song "Prescience". these guys have their shit together and i dont mean just for guys who are still in high school. i mean as musicians in general, they really have talent.
i finished I Am America [and So Can You!] and needless to say, a quite amusing read. i kinda wish i had gotten the audiobook so i could hear Stephen Colbert narrate. i have a feeling that would've made it a million times funnier. so now i'm planning on starting "Dreams from my Father" by Barack Obama tonight. This will be my first serious non-fiction book in a long while, and i'm really looking forward to it.
OH! i almost forgot to mention that last night after shawn and i got manicures, we went home and did cardio yoga together.
i know, i know. hilarious.
it was disgustingly cute, and im starting to feel super toned. im not even sore today!
tonight we're visiting steffani and going to look at a house in hagerstown that shawn wants to buy and then rent out to pull in some extra money every month. that'd be nice.
