happy day for moms.
yesterday was a really, really, really good day.
my cousins josh and mckenna came over to play. luckily it didnt rain ALL day like the weatherman predicted, so we took them outside for a few hours. after they left i took a shower and got ready to go downtown for the evening. jason picked me up and we met twinnie, danny, navit, and jenn at the coffee co. they are seriously the most amazing friends ever. we went to the hooka bar and had dinner/smoked strawberry hooka and talked so philosophically - it was seriously the best sequence of conversations i've probably ever had. jason, jenn, navit, and i got really intense about it, haha. twinnie and danny took sweet pix and danny apparently knows "where the energy goes". ahahah.
after Mirage we headed back to the coffee co, and while the rest of the kids went roofing, jason and i sat and watched a singer/songwriter entertain. when he took a break we hung out outside for a bit, and then jason left. one by one the group dispersed and only i was left. it was actually pretty good timing, cause my friend mark, who i hadnt seen since 8th grade, showed up at about that time. so we hung out and reminisced and ended up getting a ride with nathaniel..i dont know his last name but not adkins or hallock, and dusty, to my house. we played air hockey and i kicked everyone's asses. aha. we then sat outside and mark left at around 3:00. dusty, nathaniel, and i hung out until almost 5:00 and then they headed out.
i absolutely love friends. they're the most amazing people. and i couldnt be more grateful.
