Are you coming up here for Christmas? Mom and Dad are. Christine has already started sending food for me to put in the freezer and warm up Christmas day. Or are you going to be in Chicago with your Mom and Sisters?

Well I'll be in Chicago for Christmas. I guess we can't. New Years maybe.

I was thinking you coming to Chicago with me. But... your parents, you know. That's fine. I shouldn't have waited so long to work up the nerve to ask you.

I talked to Momma and Daddy and I talked to Jilly Bean. We're gonna have Christmas a couple of days early and then if you still want me to, I'll fly out to Chicago Christmas Eve morning and spend real Christmas there.

Yup. I'm sure.

However, you should know, Momma is booking wedding sites. Multiple ones so that we have options. I told her no but she rarely accepts no as an answer. Don't worry we don't have to follow through. It just makes her happy to plan.

Your momma can plan all she wants as long as it's just planning... for now.

I refuse to try on dresses or cooperate with anything. Don't worry, she'll move on from wedding plans to grandchildren plans pretty soon.
