Shoulda known having free food and a place to sleep were too damn good to be true.
Haven't learned anything useful, either. The bookstore would need money I don't have, but the library's resources seemed lacking in specific information. General occult crap here and there, but I don't want to learn about alchemy or possession. Manipulating elements and creating and powering machinery is what I need. Waiting for some memories may help; may explain my strong interest in this crap. Course, anyone skilled with either can give my a few pointers or point me towards a particular book.
...The only thing I had on me when I came here was this CD. The case and the disc itself are completely blank, except for the word 'QUEEN' scratched onto the case.
Does ANYONE here have anything capable of playing a CD?

Alright, I got a CD and this damned headband. It's hard, heavy, made of metal, and definitely more than just an accessory. I want to try taking it off and see what it is and if it's covering something, but my body seems to reflexively despise and fear the idea of removing it. My hand gets near it, my hand freezes. I think about removing it, I get chills.
...But there's a part of me that wants it off. Something I'm unconsciously attempting to keep hidden and under control.
The sensations just make me all the more curious.
Eh, guess I should wait for some memories before trying anything possibly dangerous.
