My spring break was not exactly what I'd hoped for. I didn't go to observe Ms. Freda's class once, I just submitted a paper that was due via e-mail on Tuesday, I haven't made it to the gym, have not been doing good on Weight Watchers and I've only worked two days this week.
Still, I did work, I did get the paper done, and I have had fun with my friends. Becky, Grace and I got pedicures on Thursday and that was wonderful. My feet are still pretty soft and I have crazy orange toenails. I had interesting drunk experiences both Monday and Wednesday nights. Monday I went to the Irish Channel where I saw Kelsey and Greg and Becky for a hot minute and hung out with Marie, Phil, Woody, and Sam. The party eventually moved to Woody's house, where we did several shots of rum. At some point I drunkenly invited Devin to come over. After lots of alcohol and him rubbing my back, I was almost convinced to go home with him. But even being that drunk I knew it was a bad idea and I'd hate myself in the morning. It was a really good thing to wake up by myself the next day.
For St. Patrick's Day Becky and I went to the Grille w/ Marie and Gino. That was good times. Marie, her friend Spencer, his friend and I ended up back at Marie's house drinking flat beer and playing strip poker. It was fun and weird.
I am not looking forward to the end of spring break. Today was the first day I had nothing to do so I finally did my paper. Tomorrow I have nothing to do so I'm going to clean my house. And Sunday I work, and I have to do some homework that is due on Monday for my SCED class.
All in all, even if Spring Break wasn't what I'd planned, it was an adventure nonetheless and certainly eventful.
