it seems appropriate.
blah.
it's winter break (as you probably already know)
and for me, it started out with this crazy/cool excursion to the waterfront with chelsea and nikki. i found like, five dresses that i actually liked and would probably wear. but i'm poor, so i didn't buy anything, 'cept a freaking sweet jones soda. but i obviously drank that.
uhm. saturday? i don't remember saturday... at all. i must have slept all day.
sunday was girl-o scouts. which i hate. i got to sing the fairly oddparents theme song in front of a group of nine year olds. they enjoyed it. stupid kids.
i went shopping monday with my mother. but i didn't buy anything, because once again, i am poor. i came home and was forced to watch "the thorn birds". oh my dawd. it's the most ridiculous thing ever. it's a mini series from the eighties. silly reason number one. then... it's creepy. like, old ladies hitting on priests creepy. yeck. and three... that damn meggie. for some (odd) reason, my mother thought it would be a GREAT idea to name me after that crazy meggie cleary. unfortunately, he plan was ruined when i decided i will only go by the name megan. oh well.
blah. yesterday, tuesday, i went down to pittsburgh and hung out with my uncle (he's a lawyer). it was fun. really really fun. i got to sit in on trials and stuff. some of them were stupid, like a man who needed to pick up his trash and a lady who didn't pay her water bill. but he took me to see the closing statements of a homicide trial. now that was really cool.
and today. i slept, did a little on my science project, and went to musical practice. it seems that everyone has pretty much the same opinion as i do. i thought i would hate it. but no. i love it. some of the songs are so silly and fun. and the songs that aren't silly or fun make me cry. i thought, oh noes, not another religious musical, and thoughts of the genisis version of jesus christ supa star flashed across my mind. but it's kinda neat to see these people that have been pounded into our brains since we were five have some character to them. i never thought. haa.
blah.
