this is what has been distracting me from doing my readings. isn't it gorgeous?? i've been wanting to make it for ages, but i griped about going out and buying 2 circular needles just for this dress (as some of you know, i loathe circular needles for practical and irrational reasons). so anna, genious of all geniouses, bought me all the supplies i need for it, including the first ball of yarn. i feel wierd calling it "yarn" because it's actually like a super-soft thin string. i've never knit anything so fine with thick (size 9) needles, but it's making the most beautiful soft lace... i'm in love!! also, there is a knit-a-long for this dress going on at craftster.org! join us!! (it's bliiisssss....)
