The City is corrupt, and the law is woefully inefficient. Violence and homicide is the order of the day and the brave men and women of our police force can seem to do nothing to stop it. Several more will die before the day is out. Who among us will be one of the ones to fall?
The police are not at fault; they are doing all they can.
The warden is not at fault; she is bound by ethics and due process.
It is up to us to ensure that the guilty are punished; up to us to halt the wave of homicides that has overtaken the City using any means necessary.
