I feel awful - there was something I should have told someone while she was here, and now she's not any longer. The timing of this observation isn't immediately relevant; she left a little while ago, but Sakura's recent departure reminded me. I would like to have said something, because I think it would have made her happy at the time.
I'm less bothered by it than I'd expect to be, however, and less depressed by people leaving in general than I was last year. I hope it's for the right reasons.
Whatever the case, I'm glad that I had the chance to meet Sakura and to see her again after that. It will be a pleasant surprise if she does return, but in the meantime it's good that she's going back to her own life and her family.
The Lunar New Year falls on Valentine's Day this year. I think that makes it a very auspicious time for a wedding, or at least a betrothal. What are your thoughts, Yuuko City?
