Well, was that a successful experiment, or just a loud one?

A bit of both!

Fancy meeting you again, Eriol.~

It is interesting to see you again as well.

You seem to be enjoying death.~

"Interesting." Your choice of words is noted.

I am, actually! It's not really so bad.

Not bad, just strange. You feel the same, I'm sure.

I'll keep that in mind, then.

It's strange to speak to anyone from our world - for me, at least. I'm sure we could get used to it given enough time.

It wouldn't hurt to spread the word a little. People shouldn't have to be so frightened of a natural process, don't you think?

Well, we have some time to see, don't we?

I agree, but the problem would be explaining where exactly I received this information.

I don't know if a day is enough time for that, but we can certainly make the most of it.

Ah, I suppose it would cause some problems if you told the truth. Of course, you could always write it into a novel or something - sometimes people take away more from works of pure fiction than they would from the same story told factually.

Who knows when the opportunity will come again?

That's very true. The power of myth and legend is well-documented, after all.

Exactly! And when it does arrive, you might not come for whatever reason.

That, and I think there's a part of the human mind that shuts off when there's the subconscious expectation that there might be a test on the subject later on.

Or you might not be here anymore.

If you could prove that fact, thousands of schoolchildren would be in your debt.

Inconceivable! As a fixture of the City, I believe I am as permanent as the sky. [ The sarcasm, can you taste it? ]

I'll become a doctor of neurology and start work on that right away, then.

Oh! Sorry. I was, uh, just commenting on how similar you and Clow-kun, when he's affected by the child curse, look.

That would only make sense.
